Noel Obermeier

Hi, I'm Noel. I'm 24 years old, originally from Erfurt and recently finished my design studies. Before I start working in the industry, I would like to try my even greater passion, photography. I've been able to gain a lot of experience in the field of photography over the past almost 4 years, but that's not enough for me. I want to try out many more sectors and make a name for myself as a photographer. So I'm open to try out and photograph everything possible.

My first photo was of a dog next to a store. The owner came out at that moment and saw me taking photos of her dog. We had a quick chat and she asked me if I could send her the pictures.

I did a year abroad in Canada (Vancouver) and had photography as a subject in Highschool. That's where my passion for photography was born. I dreamed of having my own camera for a few years afterwards and then when I finally got it, I couldn't let go of this hobby. I have now been taking photos for almost 4 years.

I learned the basics of photography in high school. The rest I actually taught myself. I read and learn from experienced photographers. I take classes and try things out.

When it comes to editing images, my motto is: as much as necessary, as little as possible. Of course, it depends on the project and what I want. If it's up to me, then I want to do as much as possible with the camera itself.
