My name is Olaf, I am 18 years old. In recent months I moved out to Berlin seeking for new life perspectives and in order to bloom in photography.

Yes! I actually can my first non profesional photo with a professional camera! When I was way younger I visited my grandparents. They had a really beautiful plot near the woods and I spotted a really tiny lizard which I wanted to photograph… but it was hidden in its little hole, so I waited for hours for it to leave that hole… once it left I got a really blurry picture of it, but I still went around and showed it to everybody.

This question is quite hard for me to answer as I was into it since I can remember, just like I wrote about that little lizard, I’ve been passionate about it basically since my childhood.

I am satisfied with it when I and the person working on it had fun… and well obviously if the photos look like made in heaven!

In my opinion right away! There isn’t a bad time to contact one. The sooner you contact a photographer the sooner we could meet up and have the photo session!

Many people say that it’s emotions but in my opinion it’s not just it. It’s the light, the background, the falling leaves in a perfect direction… it’s all in the details!

I love talking with people, in the past I used to be quite introverted for a while but when I overcome my fears I always try to have some talk and fun!

Portrait photography doesn’t sound too special for everyone but for me it’s more than just photography. It’s all about meeting people and as I said, the details.

Well there are many small details only a photographer can see! For example let’s say I’m walking around the city with someone and I spot many seriously MANY beautiful scenery spots.

Well in the field of photography it’s not just the school I’ve completed, it’s also meeting up with others and taking photos, being a part of group photography sessions and such.

It really depends, I don’t like staying with just a one style. Sometimes I wanna express my emotions, show sadness, madness, chaos, happiness, excitement… But sometimes I like to go with the flow!

Obviously the camera is my number one option, but I really enjoy using other props not so expected ones as well.

It is quite important, but it’s not the most important. If someone is good and passionate in something they usually will be able to comprehend the issues with other things!

Well, I ran all around my city, texted anyone I could and got right away to work! I had lots of fun doing it.

Besides the photography itself I really enjoy editing these photos. That’s when you get into the real details of it, let’s say one of your eyes was closed but the picture looks just THE BEST, then I’ll fix the eye issue!

Well first of all have fun! Because without it you’ll have it harder achieving higher hills!… and obviously don’t give up!

Well in my opinion the photography camera is a really important tool to invest in! Without it you won’t seem professional enough…
