Hi! I am Daria Seeger, recently moved to Germany and my top favourite genres are portraits, lifestyle and events (your weddings too)

Yes, haha. I took my parents camera when I was 7 and snapped a picture of tree branches. I was artsy!

It was always my hobby until my friends started asking to pay for photo shootings for them. My family is into photography too, my dad, my brother and my aunt. But I think I learned how to position people in the shot from my mum.

Tough one! I am happiest when people want to post the photos I took and when they want to print it out!

When you know that you want some photos and you found the photographer with the works that you like and the vibe.

A good photo should give more than just subjects in good light. It needs to evoke emotions, bring back memories, make you want to share it.

To see people react to their photos or photos of their loved ones. Second best - there are so many creative possibilities with story-telling and photos!

A good portrait can be taken in any conditions, but it is intricate work to make a person open up in front of you.

This is not surprising, but everybody sees their own truths in photos. A professional photographer should see not just how to flatter the hero with lights and poses, but also they should be able to see the image before it is taken. In a way, they see the future.

Life-long learning! You never know what you need to be ready for, so I am driven to constantly study from the best in my field.

I want to portray the people and their souls well enough for other to fall in love! This HAS happened before, too :)

My own! I love a good prime lens and natural light or a telescopic zoom on a silent camera for the most candid shots.

As much as everything else. You can't take one part of the job in isolation. What you lack in one, you can compensate in other.

Wherever I am the first clients are always friends! And then it's word of mouth, because a good photo is shared!

There's love and hate relationship. I tread very carefully with how much is retouched because people are beautiful as they are, but if someone asks for retouching, I am happy to provide the best polished digitals

The more photos you make, the better you understand what you like and how it all works. When you look at photos that you like, find out what exactly it is that you like about them, and try to replicate this for experience.
